About Pasito
Pasito is a site where you can follow your favorite dancers, teachers, event planners, and events and get notified when there are new dance events you might be interested in. But that's only the first part.
One of the main goals is to try to get people who only go to classes to go to socials, and help those that only go to socials find some great teachers. So part two is building out a class management platform where teachers can manage their classes and users can see events and classes together on the same platform.
Events is more or less done as I envisioned it, classes will be added as time permits, but hopefully not too far in the future.
Part 1: Events
- Follow people, events, and locations and get notified when new events are posted
- Get notified when a user you follow “boosts” an event
- Subscribe to a calendar feed of your events so they automatically appear in your calendar
Part 2: Classes (coming next)
- Teachers can create courses, offerings, and classes
- Teachers can manage enrollment, payments, attendance, post follow-up videos and playlists, and recommend events
- Users can enroll in classes and have access to the resources provided by the teacher
Classes probably won't come out until I'm able to work on this full time since it's a ton of work. In the meantime I'll be adding some smaller, fun features.
